In 2010 Murat Erdogan finished his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering at the University of Kassel. He subsequently worked at the Institute of Computational Electronics and Photonics as well at the Institute of Microwave Electronics as Scientist Officer, before joining the applied research institute Fraunhofer IESE in Kaiserslautern within the Embedded Systems Quality Assurance team, where he worked in several industrial and scientist research projects, including ARAMIS, SPES and Vierfor ES.
In 2014 he joined EFS GmbH in Ingolstadt as Safety Engineer and later as Safety Manager for diverse chassis and ADAS projects. Between 2016 and 2017 he worked as Lead Safety Manager within Visteon for a High-complex Body Domain Controller project. In 2017 he moved to Autoliv Sweden AB and took the disciplinary leadership for the Forward-Looking-Camera Safety Management Team.
Since July 2018 Mr. Erdogan is the Global Head of Functional Safety within Veoneer and leads the Global FuSa Organisation.
