Jörn Thieling

Jörn has BSc and MSc degrees in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology and Computer Engineering from the RWTH Aachen University. Currently he is active in the field of 3D Simulation Technology with a focus on physical simulation of multimodal sensor systems including camera, lidar, radar and ultrasonic sensors. In this context he is doing his PhD and working at MMI of RWTH Aachen. Here he is taking the role of Group Lead for Automotive & Sensor Technologies leading projects that strive for a seamless transition from virtual to real prototypes.
