Emrah studied mechanical engineering and mechatronics. Afterwards, he did a master in Systems and Control in the Netherlands. He started his career at AVL List and Ford USA.
Afterwards, he worked as functional safety engineer and functional safety manager for dual clutch transmission projects at AVL List, as well as functional safety manager for steering systems at Bosch Automotive, specializing in autonomous driving systems.
Since January 2016, he is Global functional Safety Manager at Magna Powertrain, responsible for driveline systems, transmission, advanced engineering and fluid pressure control areas.
