Elmar Berghöfer

Research Officer, BeamNG

Elmar Berghöfer has been working for the German Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) since 2011. He worked as a researcher and project leader in different public funded and industry projects. Topics of his projects and research interests include machine learning in different fields, in particular autonomous driving. At the moment he leads the project Dreams4Cars at the Robotics Innovation Center (DFKI Branch in Bremen).

After a previous cooperation between DFKI and BeamNG, Elmar Berghöfer joined the BeamNG GmbH in 2018 where he organizes and advises the use of the BeamNG.drive technology for research and professional R&D use cases.
