Dr. Jing XIAO finished her engineering and master studies in Software Engineering at Institut National des Sciences Appliquées (INSA) de Toulouse, France, in 2006. She proceeded with a thesis on the topic ‘‘Uncertainty management in design and development of complex system’’ at Institut National Polytechnique (INP) of Toulouse and obtained her PhD degree in ‘‘Computer Systems’’ in 2009.
From 2010 she mainly worked in nuclear power plant projects on the qualification of Instrument & Control Command system in accidental condition for Areva NP in Paris. Since 2012, She joined into Continental and she mainly worked on functional safety for engine management system and brake system relevant projects. And since 2020 she has worked, as ‘‘Senior Expert’’, on safety of Machine Learning based system in advanced technology projects.
