Dr. Boris Schauerte has over 10 years of experience in machine learning, computer vision, pattern recognition and data analysis (currently with a focus on deep learning, convolutional neural networks, autoencoders etc.) and over 15 years of programming experience (e.g. C/C++, Python, Matlab). He holds a PhD in Computer Science / Robotics with a focus on audio-visual perception based on machine learning and signal processing. In addition, Boris Schauerte has several years of experience in teaching and supervising students in the areas of computer vision and machine learning as well as in project, product and team management, and many years of experience in the design, development and testing of software solutions. In addition, he has professional experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, distributed file systems, (very) large data sets, etc. Boris Schauertes' big interests for more than 15 years include Linux and computer security.
