Arno Schaumann is responsible for the department “Vehicle safety and Automated driving” at Robert Bosch Corporate Research since 2015. He studied electrical engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology Karlsruhe and at the French National Polytechnic Institute of Grenoble. He joined Bosch 1996 in the field of passive safety electronics. From 2011 to 2015 he was in charge of software development for active safety systems at Bosch Engineering GmbH, a small Bosch “speedboat” subsidiary.
